Originally from the State of Connecticut, the founder of BIA, Craig Carlson, came to France for the first time as a student and immediately fell in love with the country. It was in Paris that Craig developed his passion for film and decided to make a career of it. After studying at the USC cinema in Los Angeles, Craig worked as a writer and director of short films before getting a job on a TV series in Paris. The only thing Craig missed while living in the city of lights was good old American breakfast. Craig was convinced that it was time to open an Authentic American Diner in Paris!
